Is this the #metoo moment of professional services? Nothing is surprising in this “news” to anyone who has ever worked in banking or consulting. Most of those who worked in these industries going-in knew what to expect and were repeatedly told “this is what you get paid the big dollars for” but yet they went in and stayed. Glad to see a generation has been bold to come out and raise their voices.

I see where you're coming from, but - as a former M&A banker myself - nobody ever said it was going to be easy. Your hard work is clearly the price, or rather investment, you make on yourself in exchange for the wealth of future opportunities, accelerated career progression and the potential to achieve 99th-percentile earnings in your 30s.No offense, but unfortunately every generation seems to get softer and if young Millennials can't even sacrifice something of their work-life balance in their mid-20s (!) in exchange for unique career opportunities, they should just go and apply for some other career. Banking is not for everyone...
